Private Lessons

Learning is Key to Living!

The idea of receiving private lessons is to give you the tools you will need to communicate with your pet, in the comfort of your own home, at a time that is convenient to you. In addition, is also provides a safe and comforting environment for you and your dog to learn in.

The home is where owners most often see “problem behaviors” arise. Since the home is where most dogs spend the majority of their lives at, the home is where those behaviors need to be worked on, not in a group setting.

Problem Behaviors Include:

  • Jumping
  • Barking
  • Digging
  • Chewing/Nipping
  • Leash pulling
  • Potty training issues
  • and more

During private lessons we can cover any of the problem behaviors as well any of the behaviors that are covered in group classes. We are even able to cover behaviors that are specific to you and your dog.

At ÜberDog we also offer special “mini” lessons. Mini-Lessons are shorter sessions designed to work on one particular training behavior or problem behavior.

Day Training

Done in the comfort of your own home, with you present or not, it’s your choice. We will come over and help teach your dog new behaviors or simply help him polish up some old ones. Perfect for those with very busy schedules or those that don’t want a break in training while they are out of town. Sessions are 1 to 2 hours daily for as many or as few days each week as wanted. Mini Lessons

These short sessions are 30 minutes long and are designed to work on one or two behaviors that need improvement or that the dog or puppy is still struggling with.

Specialty Classes

If you are interested in doing Stunt dog class, K9 Nose Work™ or CGC/C.L.A.S.S. these are also available to be taught as private lessons.
